OIGÅLL PROJECTS is a gallery and conceptual testing ground located on Wurundjeri land in Naarm/Melbourne. The gallery produces exhibitions showcasing captivating and challenging work from contemporary Australian artists & designers. The versatile space presents a blank canvas for cyclical reinvention in collaboration, unbound by history nor convention. Pronounced ‘Oi-gul’ the project is named in honour of the late Irene (Gertrude) Spilsbury aka Oigåll (1926 – 2018). “Nothing that surrounds us is object, all is subject.”
